PRIORITIES
Priorities for the Great Horton Community First are:
1)Improve the health and well being of all ward residents.
2)Bring different communities within the ward together.
3)Develop Inter-generational projects in the ward.
4)Increase avenues for employment opportunities
5)Improve people’s awareness and pride in the built environment.
6)Priority is to address criminal and anti social activities.
These priorities sit within the wider priorities of the CF Programme:-
1)Support local projects that improve the quality of life for local people.
2)Promote a sense of ownership not only of problems but of local opportunities and resources.
3)Start more neighbourhood groups and revitalise existing groups.
4)Introduce a new approach to funding projects – leveraging time, money and other resources – helping neighbourhoods play a leading role in regenerating their area.
